“The Resurrection: ‘Make It or Break It’ for the Gospel”

1 Corinthians 15:1-11

The Big Idea– The gospel rises or falls, both in history and in your life, on the truthfulness of Christ’s resurrection.

(15:1-2) There is a very specific message of “good news” that must be proclaimed and you must believe.

(15:3-4) The “facts” of that gospel message are the death and resurrection of Christ predicted in the Old Testament.

(15:5-8) As hard as a resurrection is to believe, there were well over 500 eyewitnesses who saw Christ afterwards.

The Bottom Line (15:9-11) If you claim to believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection, did it change your life, like Paul’s?
