“Staying Off the Path of Least Resistance”

Hebrews 11:23-26

The Big Idea– The path of least resistance develops only flabby “faith” and settles for short-term fool’s gold.

The Big Picture:

–         Exodus 2:1-14 (Moses’ own memory of what happened)

–         Acts 7:18-27 (Stephen’s message applying what happened)

(11:23) By faith, parents can rejoice in the life of their child and overcome even strong fears.

(11:24-25) By faith, young adults can make godly choices that reflect the staying power of eternal perspective.

(11:26) By faith, you can look past the smallness of momentary insult to the greatness of ultimate reward.

The Bottom Line Where is your goal line (Philippians 3:12-14)?  Which path are you taking to get there?
