Two Sides of the Coin

“Salvation… from Man’s Perspective”
Acts 16:23-34
Introduction–
The Big Idea– Nobody else can exercise faith for an unbeliever, but you can’t have faith without God’s help.
(Acts 16:30b-34; Ephesians 2:8-9) There’s nothing you can “do” to be saved, except have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 2:10; Titus 3:8) Good works cannot save you, but they are God’s planned lifestyle for those who have salvation.
(John 16:7-11; 3:3-8; Ephesians 1:13-14) You believe, but you must never underestimate the role of the Holy Spirit in your salvation.
The Bottom Line– Which comes first, the chicken or the egg—faith or new birth (Titus 3:5-8)? It depends on which side of the coin you’re looking at?
